New information about the next Star Wars 10 movie has surfaced on the network, which has disappointed many fans of the franchise.
It’s been known for some time that the next feature film in the Star Wars universe should be a picture of director Taika Waititi, who directed Thor 3: Ragnarok and Thor 4: Love and Thunder for Marvel. The new movie is set to release sometime in late 2023, but new news may indicate that the release of the new Star Wars is still a long way off. Recently, Taika Waititi gave a new interview, in which he talked about the stage the new episode of Star Wars 10 is at. Narrated by the director irritated many fans.
When the director was asked how soon he would start working on the new Star Wars, Waititi said “not this year”. “From August to the end of the year I’ll be in New Zealand working on ‘Our Flag Means Death’ and ‘Time Bandits’. During this time, I also plan to write the script for the new Star Wars 10. I’m still figuring out what kind of story will be in this movie,” said the director. So it’s not until early 2023 that Taika Waititi will write the script for his new film. With that in mind, it’s unlikely that production on the new Star Wars will end before 2024, given the amount of special effects the film has to do. Many fans of the franchise were disappointed not to see the new Star Wars movie soon.
