Valve released a summer update for Dota 2. No changes were made to the balance, but the graphics were slightly improved and the reporting system changed.
Now the game takes praise into account: if you like another player, you will be more likely to meet him in the next match. Also, the developers have added a “Dislike” button, which works in the exact opposite way.
The new reporting system allows you to report players “toxicity for texting or voice chatting, smurfing, impeding play, cheating, cheating, and outside role play”. There is no longer a limit on the number of complaints. If the player is penalized, the complainant will be notified.
In addition, Dota 2 has a new “politeness” parameter that changes depending on behavior. In addition, a special system has appeared in matches that can detect toxic players during the match and block their chat.

Valve also improved the map display. Contrast has increased in dark areas, clouds begin to cast shadows, and the light from tower projectiles is now reflected on the terrain and heroes.
Finally, the authors added a new treasure chest and an improved arsenal with the ability to match all available items. Read more about the patch here.
