Developers from Ascendant Studios have published a new video of the “magical” shooter Immortals of Aveum, who talked about improving skills. By the way, the project has already “gone for gold”, which means that no more transfers will be announced.
Magic skills in the game are divided into three colors: green, red and blue. The first type of magic is suitable for gamers who primarily want to develop the ability to create illusions, change the environment and deceive enemies. The second focuses on destruction and mayhem skills that deal damage at close range. And the third will be interesting for players who want to focus on protection with shields and electric attacks.
The effectiveness of each magical ability depends on the opponent the character is fighting against. Each of them is also marked with a specific color so that you know which spell is best to use in combat.
For pumping, the so-called Ascension points are used, which are obtained after defeating enemies. The skill tree contains two additional sections for learning different power-ups. This allows each player to make the most individual montage, depending not only on their skills, but also on the equipment used.
Recall that the release of Immortals of Aveum will take place on August 22 on PC (preload is already available), PS5 (preload is available from August 20) and Xbox Series X / S (preload is already available).
