Even if there is no bard in the squad, do not rush to slap faces and attack in the forehead. Try to negotiate with a potential enemy to the last. For example, if you go not just to clear the Goblin camp, but try to convince the guards that you are your own, you will get unimpeded access to the camp, as well as various quests from the goblins. In terms of working out the game environment, the developers of Larian Studios have clearly crossed all the boundaries of what is allowed. Any object on stage can potentially become your weapon or affect the outcome of the battle. Can you see the enemy standing in a puddle? Freeze it. Can you see the spilled oil? Set it on fire. Chandelier? Fall on the enemy.

Spells also interact with the world – once half of the team died because the magician decided to perform a kinetic attack while standing on a thin wooden bridge. The spell threw the enemies into the abyss, but also destroyed the bridge.

Fire can spread to other objects, with the help of a bunch of barrels and a chest you can build a tower and just jump on the wall of the fortress. In general, you can use the environment in hundreds of ways, the main thing is to learn how to do it.

Fortunately, the developers gave us this opportunity. You can switch classes effortlessly in camp, so don’t be afraid to experiment and find interesting builds and uses for the abilities of different classes.

For example, the Bard (!), with a specialization in two-handed combat and the “Sniper” ability, dealt the most damage in the squad. 23 damage per shot with any hand at level 4 is no joke! And if you look at the multiclasses! ..

Create a rogue barbarian runner who can reach the enemy in seconds and hit him hard, or a ninja who can teleport behind the enemy by combining a monk, wizard and rogue. If you know desktop D&D’s iconic classes, they’ll work here too.

Do you want a cute creature that is not averse to biting the enemy? Buy yourself a bear. This is not easy to do – you have to fight with his mother and then save a few times. But you get a creature much cuter than a dog.
