Diablo 4 is a new part of Blizzard’s legendary series. An open beta test took place in March, where everyone could get acquainted with the project. But fans have a question: will there be just five character classes in the final version of the game, or will there be a sixth? We have dedicated this article to this topic.
Where did the information about the sixth character in Diablo 4 come from
During the first beta (March 17-19, 2023), which was only available for pre-orders of Diablo 4, players were offered three character classes: Barbarian, Rogue, and Wizard. During the second beta (March 24-26), Necromancer and others joined them. However, in December there were rumors of a sixth grade character. It was then that the art was published, which depicts not five, but six heroes.
Who will be the sixth character in Diablo 4
Fans are starting to speculate about who the new character is. It should certainly be different from those five classes already presented. Three theories seem to us to be the most reliable.
First guess. The sixth character class is Templar, Paladin, or Crusader. The exact name depends on the specific style, but the essence is the same. It combines brute force with sacred magic – healing, improving health, accelerated skill recovery and other similar spells. Such heroes met in all parts of the series, with the exception of the very first.
Second guess. The sixth character class is the Amazon. In ranged combat she relies on a bow and in close combat on a long spear. You could play for her Diablo 2 and recent re-release of this game.
Third guess. We are talking about a whole new class of characters that we did not encounter in the first parts of the series. Before us is a Half-Angel that combines melee attacks with celestial magic. We saw a similar hero in commercials However, Diablo 3 gamers were not allowed to play for them. This theory is largely based on the plot of the new part of the series, which is devoted to the Fallen Angels.
Note that in this case we are not even talking about a leak, but about the suspicions of fans of the series. Some of them hoped for the appearance of the sixth hero in the beta version of Diablo 4, but this did not happen. We await official information from Blizzard. A new character class will most likely be announced before release.
