Prince Philip was born on April 15, 1960. At that time, Belgium (of course, as in any constitutional monarchy) reigned, King Baudouin’s father Prince Albert’s brother. In early childhood, Philip wasn’t ready for the fact that he would take his throne. However, the Spanish aristocracy of King Baudouin and his wife, Fabiola de Mora, Mora, turned out to be childless in 1993, inherited his throne from his brother and gave up the throne and gave up the board of directors of his eldest son.
The future ruler was born in the Belveder Castle in Lacquen, a large royal residence in the north of Brussels. His parents – Prince Albert and Queen Paola, Italian Aristocrat – his marriage was not very happy, but his mother was considered one of the most beautiful women in Europe. A sister, Princess Astrid, her brother, Prince Laurent and a half man in her father, now Princess Dolphin, had nothing enough for a child. In particular, the father – King Baudouin devoted more time to raising a child, where he adopted his strict Catholic views.
There were problems at school. The truth is that in his primary education notes, the prince studied at a Francoid educational institution, but he had already had to go to high school in Zedelgem in Western Flanders. There, the Flemish (considered as the dialect of the Dutch) training was done.
It was difficult to find friends in high school – he confessed several times that he had many problems in communication in his youth.

From 1978 to 1981, as usual, Prince Philip read the representatives of the royal families at the Royal Military Academy (Belgian), and from there he appeared with the rank of young lieutenant. After studying at the Trinity College at the University of Oxford and Stanford in California, he graduated from Sulh Complace in 1985 with a political education degree.
And the military career was not over here: Prince Philip graduated from courses at the Royal High Defense Institute, where he mastered in a military pilot expertise, received a parachutist and parachutist certificate and a new title – Colonel. In 2001, he became the main general of the land forces and the back admiral of the Navy.
At the same time, as the main task, the future ruler was entrusted with the progress of the Belgian goods in the international market. In 1993, he became an honorary representative of the Belgian Chamber of Commerce – he made about 60 journeys in this capacity. After climbing the throne of King Philip, this task moved to his younger sister Astrid.

II. King Albert’s eldest son never liked popularity among people, because in the mid -90s, the Inveterate was a license and the prince seemed to never marry.
However, on September 13, 1999, the public unexpectedly moved to Belgium, the daughter of Patrick Henri D’Edekm D’Edek and the daughter of the Belgian census, the bride of the Prince Philip – Matilda d’Edekm d’Edekm d’Ekm d’Edekm d’Edekm d’Edekm. It turned out that the excellency and the young aristocrat (the future queen Matilde 23 years old) came together in a tennis court in 1996. However, their relationship was hidden.
The wedding took place on December 4, 1999 and spent the Prince and Princess Honeymoon in Maldives and India.
In 2012, Belgium remembered that the people did not expect a marriage from Prince Philip. Journalist Frederick Debors was called “Royal Questions .. Inside, his excellency was forced to marry and four (Princess Elizabeth, Prince Gabriel, Prince Emmanuel and Princess Eleanor) were born in a clinic dealing with artificial fertilization lights.
In contrast, the royal palace published the official statement of Prince Philip. “The day I said,“ Yes ,, he was the happiest of my life in response to my offer, ”he said. Such a reaction was accepted as strange – because often royal families ignore suspicious assumptions according to their own expenses.
However, no one was surprised: Philip became famous as a strange man without charm and charisma. On the balcony of the royal residence, on the wedding day, a ridiculous wife was throwing a spray, he announced the birth of his eldest daughter in a very strange way – “This is the right woman”. In general, the prince was already accepted as strange.

In 2013, when Prince Philip’s father gave up his throne (for health reasons – already allegedly 79 years old), the audience did not see a suitable candidate for the role of the ruler. In Belgium, this role is particularly complex, because the king needs to unite two parts of the country – Francophone and Flemman. However, on July 21, 2013, the Belgians shouted “Long Hello King, about the Majesty I’s crown ceremonies. Although some representatives of Flanders ignored the ceremony, he succeeded. And in his speech, the new king said: “The fact that our nation and institutions are well depends on our ability to convert our differences into our advantage.” At the end of the day, his majesty surprised his issues – he appeared on the balcony of the housing at sunset, kissed his wife several times and said: ık We had a great day. Let’s be proud of our beautiful country. ”
For 10 years, King Philip managed to surprise the issues several more times – first of all, he turned out to be a perfect, modern ruler. According to the Brussels Times, in 2023, 55% of the Belgians were satisfied with their activities and the approval grade was 5.9 out of 10.
One of the most striking actions of the king may call an apology he brought to the residents of the Congo Democratic Republic during the years of Belgian colonization. In 2020, Monarch unexpectedly sent a letter to Feliksus to the DRC president, where his ancestors asked for forgiveness to persecute the inhabitants of the African continent. Two years later, he spoke about it once again. King Philip visited the Republic of Democratic Congo and returned to one of the great ceremony from Africa. However, this was a very symbolic step, because until 1960, a total of more than 84,000 products were extracted from Congo to Belgium.
Meanwhile, Belgium’s royal family is considered the poor in Europe – Majesty has only one state 12.4 million €. True, the activities of the rulers are paid from the pocket of the citizens of the country – and the costs of treasure approximately 40 million € per year.
At the same time, the residence of the rulers does not belong to them – both the royal palace in Brussels and the royal castle in Lacquen are considered the ownership of the state. True, there are several more castles where the king’s relatives live – in the hands of the Royal Confidence Fund.
Although King Philip and Queen Matinda live in a modest way, they are resting where they are traditional for rich people – for example, they ski in Switzerland Verbier. But not always. For example, they usually go to the kite surfing or cycling on the island of Ye island in the Gulf of Biscay in the west of France. In 2018, they suddenly went to Armenia for four days and in 2022 to Croatia.
