An enthusiast from New Zealand presented under the nickname Ancient a very original device for launching DOOM. This is a ring equipped with a display, a processor and other elements.
The ring is based on the Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller and a miniature OLED screen capable of displaying a black and white image. Powered by a LEGO battery. A USB-C port is provided for connecting a joystick, charging or flashing.
The engineer designed his own motherboard for this device and also printed the case on a 3D printer. The operating system is a special version of Linux.
