Infinix is actively expanding its range of smartphones. This time, the Note 12 2023 model arrived in a stylish white body with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, a powerful 5000 mAh battery and a 50-megapixel camera. Its characteristics are undeniably amazing, so let’s briefly note the package and immediately proceed to study this technological marvel.
The box is styled like the popular mobile game Standoff 2. Inside is the smartphone itself, a standard transparent silicone case, a 33 W power adapter, a 1 m Type-C cable, a user manual, a warranty card and stickers based on the shooter.

Design
The Infinix Note 12 2023 has a 6.7-inch FHD+ (2400×1080) AMOLED display. At the top of the screen is a waterdrop notch housing a 16-inch front-facing camera. The manufacturer has glued a protective film over the entire used surface of the smartphone – it is unlikely that you will be able to avoid a fall, but the screen will certainly protect the screen from dirt and scratches. Screen refresh rate 60 Hz. Enough to watch content and games, but no more.
The display isn’t top-of-the-line, but no lags, flickers, or other defects were found during use. With a brightness of 650 nits, you can comfortably use the device in any light, so even daylight won’t get in the way of launching a competitive match in your favorite game.
On the back of the smartphone is a camera unit with autofocus and a quad-core flash – a 50 MP main lens with f / 1.6 aperture, 2 MP as a depth sensor and an additional module for background blurring, portrait photography and using AI.
Speaking of the latter, the built-in artificial intelligence can significantly improve the quality of photos, and the Super Night mode allows you to take photos in the dark. Images in a static position look acceptable, but don’t expect the capabilities of professional devices.
For safe use of the smartphone, we have put a silicone case from the delivery set on it. It fits snugly on the device, covering all edges, but leaving a small part of the back (along with the camera module) exposed. Do not scratch the table, but it is better not to touch it with dirty hands.

On the left is a slot for two SIM cards and a microSD card. On the right side are the volume and screen lock (on) buttons with a built-in fingerprint sensor. Below is a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C and a hi-res stereo speaker. The Note 12 2023 measures 164.4 x 76.5 x 7.8mm.

The device is equipped with a 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 processor with 2.2 GHz, 8 GB of RAM with an expandable function of the built-in volume and a 256 GB drive. To activate this useful option, you need to perform several manipulations in the settings and wait for the device to reboot. In addition, there is a 5000 mAh battery with a 33 W fast charge function, an NFC module, vibration motors with a pleasant tactile feedback in games and a ten-layer graphite cooling system.
The device runs a unique XOS shell based on Android 12. The current version is 10.6.0. The most convenient chips are always built into the curtain. The Infinix Note 12 2023 is no exception. Here are ultra power saving modes, MOL for translating social media posts, eye protection with pronounced warm tones, theft protection, privacy protection, file sharing with nearby people and several other standard options.
Separately, we note the Monster Game game add-on – a wide range of tools that allow you to optimize the performance of games. There are no complaints about the shell – the speed of work and the convenient location of all important functions make it easy to understand XOS.

Performance. Synthetic testing
To check the technical capabilities of the Infinix Note 12 2023, we ran the classic benchmarks without changing the suggested settings: AnTuTu, Androbench and CPU Throttling Test. The results can be seen in the screenshots below.

The device is equipped with the Mali-G57 MC2 video core, which in all tests copes with modern mobile games. There’s no drastic drop in frame rate, even at high graphics settings. But the maximum parameters of the smartphone can not.
It becomes inconvenient to play, so first you need to carefully study the features and run the performance test built into the game, if there is one.
Results and awards
Infinix Note 12 2023 is a good budget model that fully works out the money spent. With its characteristics and low cost, the smartphone will please with stable and fast operation, and will also be a good choice for mobile gaming.
