The network has new information that revealed one of the upcoming game’s new characters Mortal Kombat 12 from NetherRealm Studios and surprised the players.
Despite the fact that the fighting game Mortal Kombat 12 has not yet been announced, NetherRealm Studios creative director Ed Boon continues to share some new details with netizens. This time Boone was asked which guest character he would like to see in a Mortal Kombat game. According to the creative director, this character is Ryu. Since DLC for Mortal Kombat 11 is no longer being released, netizens have suggested that Ryu should at least appear in Mortal Kombat 12.
It’s worth noting that Ryu is a character from a rival series from Capcom, which is why his appearance in Mortal Kombat 12 will be problematic. However, if this hero is actually added to MK12 in one of the future DLCs, fans will get a mini-crossover between the game series featuring Ryu and Mortal Kombat. However, it is still unknown whether this will definitely happen or not. At the same time, it is also worth noting that the Mortal Kombat 12 game itself has not yet been officially announced. Despite the last installment being out for quite some time, NetherRealm Studios is in no rush to unveil its new game.
The studio’s last game, Mortal Kombat 11, came out in April 2019. Since then, the authors have been developing their new project, presumably Mortal Kombat 12.
