“Hypostatic Symphony: Stanza of Dissonance” is another thematic event in Genshin Impact, in which everyone can participate. How to participate in the Hypostatic Symphony: Stanza of Dissonance event
Players must reach Adventure Rank 20 to participate in the event. There are no other requirements.
Open the events menu and access the eponymous section. If the conditions are met, select “Event Description”. You will be taken to the events menu where you can follow the four main challenges. Click “Start Trial” and teleport to Falcon Coast.

What is dissonance
Dissonance is a special mechanism encountered while completing Event Trials. Before the fight, you have the right to choose one of the four available options:
- Flaming Harmony: Pyro damage from all party members is increased by 150% for 12 seconds.
- Warming Fermata: Restores all party members to 80% of their maximum health and cancels the buildup of severe frosts.
- Solo suppression: Creates a zone of Melting Fire for the character, which periodically deals AoE damage to Pyro. The effect lasts for 8 seconds.
- Angry strings: Damage dealt by Frostfruits to a Hypostasis Cryo shield is increased by 150% for 8 seconds.
Remark: during the first pass of the test, all of the above dissonances will be available to you.
Which dissonance to choose
The choice of Dissonance depends on the leveling of your heroes. If you use strong, high-level characters, you can choose “Burning Harmony” or “Suppression Solo”. Otherwise, you should definitely rest “Warming Fermata”. It will help restore the health of the heroes and get rid of the severe frost at any time. It’s worth noting that dissonance has a limited effect – you can use it a certain number of times:
- Normal difficulty – 10 times;
- High difficulty – 10 times;
- Dauntless Difficulty – 6 times;
- Expert difficulty – 3 times.
We recommend completing the challenge on all difficulty levels except Expert. You will not receive any additional bonuses and rewards for completing this challenge. It’s aimed more at high-level fighters who want to try their hand at challenging enemies.
Which team to choose
In this challenge you will face monsters of the Krio element. We recommend having elemental heroes Pyro, Electro or Geo on your team. You can also use dishes before battle to increase damage and strengthen the squad’s defenses.
It is worth noting that you can include the heroes of the Hydro element in your squad. The main thing is that they do not activate the effect “Wet” on acting characters. Like how Barbara does after using an elemental ability.
How to protect yourself from severe frosts
Before the fight, we recommend preparing and using “Tomato Stew”. This dish is the rate of accumulation of severe frosts of all members of the squad for 900 seconds.
In addition, you can track down some thermal stelae in the arena. They are already activated, so to reduce the effect of severe frost, the player just needs to approach her and wait a few seconds.
First round
During this step you will encounter nine Cryo Slimes of different sizes. Use Blazing Harmony Dissonance to defeat them quickly.
Second round
Now you must confront two shamachurls with shields, as well as an abyss mage and an ice lava churl. To replenish your health and remove the bitter frost, activate Dissonance (on PC the “T” key).
Third round
At this stage, you will come across different machines and formers. Cast Dissonance “Suppression Solo”, which will spread to nearby enemies within range.
Fourth round. How to beat cryo hypostasis
To beat the boss, you need to know his basic attacks. We’ve described them all below.

The boss summons spikes from the ground that follow the hero. At this point, the Hypostasis Core is vulnerable – run to it and start hitting.
Ranged attack
When you notice that a pattern circle with spikes has appeared around the core, start maneuvering. Run in any direction and jump a few times. This way you can avoid the spikes. Then attack the core.
Pointed wheel
This attack is harder to dodge. The boss turns into a large wheel with spikes and moves towards the hero. You can try to jump out at the last minute or hide behind one of the thermal stelae. But the best way to protect yourself is the crystal created by the Geo character.
Attack from above
The core rises above the ground and releases three waves of spikes, each of which has a greater radius of destruction. Just leave so you don’t get hurt.
Final stage
The final stage of the fight with this boss is slightly different from the usual fight with Cryo Hypostasis. Usually, at the end of the battle, several ice plates are added that revolve around the core.
Hypostasis releases several ice stars, which must be sent at him with a charged attack. The plates can also be destroyed with a few hits from the stars, but we recommend timing and launching the stars into the core.
