Hogwarts Legacy’s new gameplay showcased a character editor, a walk around Hogwarts, and a battle system

The presentation, which lasted 46 minutes, was conditionally divided into three parts. We started by demonstrating the features of the character editor. Players can choose from two dozen hero presets or create their own by choosing a gender and customizing the face, hairstyle, voice and more. The developers then took a short tour of Hogwarts, showed the different parts of the school, walked around the courtyard and chatted with some NPCs. Towards the end of the video, the authors paid attention to the combat system.

It was also announced that:

• There are four levels of difficulty;
• It will be possible to disable the interface;
• Hogwarts was designed with books in mind;
• Access to some tasks will open after you learn the necessary magic;
• The game will not be a “student simulator”;
• The authors promise a lot of spells.
