Developers Clair Obscur: Expects 33 do not hide that the game has a complete “breakdown” skills that players can use for particularly complex bosses. But some attacks were too powerful that they recognized in Sandfall Interactive themselves.
We are talking about Mael’s assets called Stendhal, which opens in the third law and is able to cause enormous damage, so that all the shields of opponents are removed at the same time. In combination with the skills of other characters, the ability changes into an ultimatic weapon that destroys every challenge. Some assemblies with Stendhal may apply more than two billion damage units in one movement.

Sandfall Interactive noticed these screenshots and promised to weaken the skill in the next update, which will be released on 9 May. According to the developers, the skill seemed to them so reduced in the early stages of creating the game that they “overded” in attempts to make it more interesting:
He was not impressive for most of the development, so before the release we gave him a large increase in damage – and clearly covered it. As a result, he overshadowed most other options.
You still have a day to enjoy in its current form and to set different wild records. The adjustment will be included in our first complete set of corrections that will be released tomorrow. First the patch appears in Steam and then on other platforms.
Remember that the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and in the Game Pass service. Earlier, a mod came out for the game that significantly simplifies the parries and evasion.
