With update 3.2 inch Genshin Impact added the ability to copy the build of various items and objects from other players’ Kettle of Serenity. In this guide, we’ll tell you how to transfer a third-party home to your kettle and what you need to do that.

How to copy Serenity Kettle
First, players must unlock access to the Kettle of Serenity. This item becomes available after completing two parts of the “Teapot – Full Cup” world mission. Read more about building in Genshin Impact in this guide.
Enter the hermitage by placing the Kettle of Serenity in front of the hero. click on kettle icon top right of the screen. This will take you to the Mirror of Adepts menu. Switch to tab “To copy”. Here the function of transferring the appearance of the monastery will be fulfilled.
Click the icon plus sign on the right side of the menu to enter copy mode. It should be noted that this will create a copy of the object where your hero is currently located. For example, if you are not at home, only make a copy of the outside. Transferring an exact replica of all the rooms in the house doesn’t work either: use the switch in the left corner of the screen to select the desired room. In total, you can make up to ten copies of the monastery.
Each replica has a unique ID. You can share this ID with friends and other players, and transfer the interior of third-party kettles. To do this, click the “Use Copy ID” button and paste the received number into the input line.
Note that copy IDs only work for players on the same server. For example, a user from Asia cannot transfer the interior of another player from America or Europe.
Open the menu to send a line to a player “To copy” and click the icon “Copy ID:”. Pass the ID to another user.
You can also visit a friend’s Teapot of Serenity. On the menu “To copy” click the plus icon and click “Make a copy”. This method only works if the owner of the monastery has given his friends permission to make copies. We describe this mechanic in more detail below.
An error occurred while copying. What must we do?
The first reason for such an error is the prohibition on making and using copies by other players. To share a line, open the copy menu and select “Guests can make copies”. Otherwise, the transfer of your residence is not possible.
Before copying the interior of a third party Serenity Kettle, you can preview it. Here you can track the decor used and the look of the copy. The player has the right to use the interior in two cases:
- Your retreat will have at least 90% of the decor used in the replica.
- The player has all the elements used in the set replica.
What are the restrictions when copying the Kettle of Serenity
While using the Serenity Kettle system, players must follow the standard user agreement rules. When creating objects and copies of the interior, developers recommend to refrain from:
- Discriminatory activity or content related to race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, government, and geography;
- Bully or insult individual players or groups of players;
- Improper exchange of copies of ID;
- Making offensive copies;
- Any other actions or content prohibited by the rules of the User Agreement.
