What’s up with the Ferrari? This brand was and is owned fiat. In addition, this car is tied up and BMW. And if you look at the car, you can easily mistake it for a Ferrari.
Enough mysteries. This is the Fiat Coupe, which was produced from 1993 to 2000. The coupé was designed by Chris Bangle. This is the same person who created the BMW design of the early 2000s. In the early 1990s, his coupé design fiat was chosen from several options, one of which was presented by the design house Pininfarina.
Like some of Bangle’s other designs, the Fiat Coupe looks a little… unconventional. But it has a certain charm that many modern cars cannot boast of. The main feature of the car is the hood. Take a closer look – the headlights are integrated into it. Where else can you find such a solution?
Outwardly, the Fiat Coupe is very similar to the Ferrari. For example, a little – later appeared Ferrari 458. But in terms of its characteristics, the car is also extraordinary – it was equipped with engines rated from 130 to 220 horsepower. That is, the acceleration to 100 km / h, depending on the engine, is 9.3 to 6.5 seconds.
For example, a Ferrari 456 from the same production years accelerated to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds – 1.3 seconds faster than our Fiat.
There are such Fiat Coupes in Russia, which are offered on the secondary market at a price of 2.2 million rubles. Recently a very interesting copy of the Fiat Coupe appeared on offer in the US, reason to remember this car. It is in perfect condition and is equipped with a top engine of 220 hp. The mileage is only 49,685 km, and the seller is asking for this coupe 18 thousand dollars, or 1.1 million rubles. In Russia, a comparable Fiat Coupe will cost less, but have more mileage.
This is not a children’s toy or a key ring, but a real sports coupe – the price will shock you.
