Background: Crossout authors showed how the game’s graphics will change after switching to a new engine – trailerFor online action Crossout has released the Supercharged update, which updates the Target Engine to version 2.0. The game started to look noticeably better and got support for NVIDIA DLSS 2 technology.
The visual part has changed thanks to global lighting, contact shadows, local reflections and new color correction. A detailed comparison can be seen in the video below:
The update also improved vehicle management, added a new “Quarry” PvP map and additional blueprints. You can also subscribe to other players in the menu so as not to miss their new creations.
In addition, the temporary Witch Hunt event, dedicated to Halloween, has been launched in Crossout. In it, players are distracted from high-profile gunfights and chase a bunch of holiday balloons. For completing tasks, you can get currency, which is exchanged for themed cosmetics and parts for armored vehicles.
Crossout is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
