One in five residents of the Russian Federation plans to spend the May holidays at their dacha or in nature. 8 percent of Russians will travel around the country, 3 percent planned to travel to foreign countries and 2 percent to the CIS.
18 percent of the survey participants said that they would not rest these days and would spend them at work. The rest admitted that they had not yet decided what to do.
The majority of Russians (59%) are ready to spend less than 10 thousand rubles on vacation during the May holidays. Another 21% plan to cover the budget from 10 to 30 thousand rubles. Only 8% of respondents plan to spend more than 100 thousand rubles. Russians spend their basic expenses on food and drinks. For travelers, tickets and accommodation will cost the most.
About 1.5 thousand people from all regions of Russia participated in the survey.
