The summer spectacle known as the Grand Prix of Summer continues to captivate viewers, remaining the top program for its broadcast night even though it has not reached the peak performance of last season. Spanish Television has opted to intensify coverage by doubling its broadcast and replaying the final four episodes in a marathon-style presentation that keeps the event front and center for audiences gathering around the television each week.

RTVE has confirmed that the final elimination episode will air on its regular night, Monday, August 26, and will feature competition from the towns of San Adrián in Navarra and Llerena in Badajoz. In the same week, on Friday night, August 30, La 1 will broadcast the first semifinal of this season, followed by the second semifinal on September 2, which is planned to entertain a broad public television audience. The grand finale is scheduled for Friday, September 6, closing the competition for this cycle with a dramatic and entertaining culmination.

The decision to accelerate the schedule may reflect RTVE’s strategy to ensure the summer format remains strong into the upcoming season while delivering the remaining episodes without delay. RTVE continues to push forward with major plans for its broader slate. As disclosed earlier by YOTELE, the network is preparing a new show led by David Broncano, with a premiere set for September 9, signaling a fresh bet for the network as autumn programming arrives.

For devoted fans of the Grand Prix, there are additional notes to anticipate. RTVE has hinted at upcoming seasonal extras, including Christmas specials in the same format as the main program, designed to extend the brand beyond the core summer run. In parallel, the network is actively developing a special edition aimed at younger audiences, a move announced during this season’s press conference and expected to broaden the program’s appeal across different demographics.
