Evgenia Medvedeva, a renowned figure skater, attended the National Television Award “High Five!” as a guest at the grand presentation ceremony. The event took place in the expansive concert hall inside the International Exhibition and Forum Russia complex at VDNKh, and the award’s press service shared highlights with socialbites.ca.
For the occasion Medvedeva opted for a streamlined, elegant outfit. She wore a satin white skirt paired with a tailored jacket featuring broad shoulders. Underneath she chose not to wear underwear, a bold styling choice she balanced with heeled sandals and long dangling earrings. Her hair was styled in a low bun with a few loose strands framing her face, completing a minimalist yet striking look.
The guest list at the ceremony included notable personalities such as Olga Buzova, Khabib, Vanya Dmitrienko, Valya Carnival, Rodion Gazmanov, Misha Marvin, Karina Nigay, Vyacheslav Makarov, Natalya Medvedeva, and many others who added to the event’s high-profile atmosphere.
Medvedeva is a two-time silver medalist from the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. She achieved second place in the individual ladies’ event and also contributed to Russia’s success in the team competition. The Olympic title in the women’s category went to Alina Zagitova, who finished just one point ahead of Medvedeva, underscoring a closely contested rivalry that drew significant attention from fans and pundits alike.
Beyond the Olympics, Medvedeva’s career features two gold medals from the World Championships and European Championships. Her last competitive appearance occurred in December 2019. In April 2023 she announced her retirement from competitive figure skating. Alongside her athletic pursuits, she has continued to perform in ice shows, enriching her presence in the public eye and showcasing her artistry beyond strict competition.
Today Medvedeva runs her own YouTube channel, expanding her influence beyond skating. The channel hosts interviews with well-known guests and offers insights into her life, training, and perspectives on the sport. The project, titled BeS Comments, reflects her ongoing engagement with fans and the broader entertainment community.
Earlier in her career she formed an association with a collaboration related to the career of a well-known ice show impresario. This connection highlighted her versatility and willingness to explore opportunities beyond classic competitive programs.
