David Bustamante Returns to the Spotlight on Antena 3

David Bustamante has resurfaced on television, greeting fans as a familiar guest on the Antena 3 program El Hormiguero. The veteran performer has been sharing details about his current creative path, juggling acting and singing as he headlines the musical Ghost. “We’re in season two and we’ll be back in Madrid for a month, again at Albéniz next week. The theater was packed every night during our last run, so we had to return before saying goodbye”, Bustamante explains, reflecting on the show’s ongoing success.

Across the touring schedule, Bustamante has been moving through major Spanish cities like Zaragoza and Valencia, bringing the Ghost production to enthusiastic audiences. As the stage run nears its end, the artist reveals plans for a new recording project. “I’m close to finishing the album and we’ll start recording soon. Sooner or later I’ll release new music”, he says, hinting at fresh material on the horizon.

During his appearance, Bustamante also opened up about a few personal quirks. He admits a fear of the dark and a fear of the sea, joking that the film Jaws left a lasting impression. The discussion even touches a nod to El Hormiguero’s musical director Valdi, who is credited with the soundtrack to many memorable moments on screen. Bustamante laughs and notes that Valdi once warned against a risky choice, emphasizing the playful camaraderie that defines the show.

On another front, Bustamante is teasing a new fragrance that bears his name. The project already stands as one of his best-selling ventures, following nine prior launches. When the host playfully questions whether the perfume line has finally reached its peak, Bustamante responds with a confident stance: the product line continues to thrive because, in his view, they are produced with care and character, making it a shame to stop now. />
