On March 8, International Women’s Day, Russians began to mass empty the shelves of flower shops and flower delivery services. And if people’s floral preferences for March 8 are known – these are tulips, then the most popular shade remained a secret. Analysts from the flower delivery service Florist.ru told socialbites.ca about this.

Experts shared that the absolute leader among the shades is a bouquet of orange, pink, yellow, purple and white tulips.

“From now on, Russians preferred bouquets consisting only of pink tulips, called monobouquets in florist parlance. “And then the dark blue orchid, which has surpassed red tulip bouquets in popularity, closes out the floral trio, falling well behind the leaders,” he said.

They also stated that the best-selling book of the entire season, the red rose, did not even make it into the top 10 sales. But there were bouquets of roses of various shades: bouquets combining flowers with soft pink, white and purple buds were popular.

Russians before bought record number of mimosas.
