A Kickstarter fundraiser for a short film based on the cult STALKER series, subtitled Shadow of the Zone, has ended. The authors managed to raise $319,000 (about 19 million rubles), which is even more than they originally planned ($255,000).
The shorts are inspired by GSC Game World. The main character will be a loner accompanying a group of mercenaries. In an effort to reach the mysterious signal, the stalkers discover that it affects reality and decide to discover this paranormal phenomenon.
Production on the film will begin in the winter and premiere in the summer of 2023. The tape is currently in pre-production. The director will be a little-known director Stephen Hancock, World of Tanks fans from Russia and Belarus will be kept separate from gamers from other countries
