A restaurant called The Kitchen at London House on the Isle of Wight in England was attacked by vegans and has responded vigorously to their accusations. Related reports daily mail.
The anger of vegans who do not eat animal foods stemmed from the institution’s decision not to include suitable main dishes in their menu. After the restaurant released its new menu, they started writing to him: “No vegan main course?” And when the institution responded positively, they began to write to him, among other things: “A cold menu.”
In response, the restaurant took to social media with a lengthy post announcing that it had released a new menu for The London House Bistro and began receiving comments from angry vegans.
“We apologized politely and professionally for not serving vegans. If we are talking about some kind of individual food intolerance, then in ordinary life this will be enough. But some bad people decided that they have the right and place to criticize us, ”wrote representatives of the restaurant.
They explained that they used to make vegan meals but decided to end this practice.
“Why? Because we’re sick of this arrogant, ‘holier than Pope’ position,” they said.
The restaurant asked not to consider all businesses obligated to serve vegans, and asked those who do not eat animal foods to go to the appropriate places.
