Universal Pictures has released information about a new film directed by Christopher Nolan. This is a film adaptation of the poem “Odyssey” by the ancient Greek poet Homer. The premiere is scheduled for July 17, 2026.
The plot of the poem concerns the king of Ithaca, who goes on a long journey during which he encounters many mythical creatures and gods. The main goal of the hero is to return home to his family, but to do this he will have to pass a number of difficult tests. The main action takes place after the fall of Troy.
According to media reports, many famous actors will star in the film, including Charlize Theron, Tom Holland, Matt Damon, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o) and Robert Pattinson.
