After a year and a half of silence, the authors of the change STALKER 2: Old Concept contacted and released a new video of a large-scale project. A new video confirmed that the mod has not been cancelled.
Unfortunately, the new video turned out not to be very informative. In it, the main character wandered through the night location and entered a house with a Christmas tree. The authors noted that the character’s movement animations are still in development and will be noticeably improved in the coming months.
STALKER 2: Old Concept is an attempt to recreate the canceled version of the second Stalker, which will offer a seamless open world spanning over six square kilometers. The project was based on leaked design documents and an early build, which was leaked online in 2021. The mod has been in early development for several years, so it is unknown if it will ever hit the market. In mid-2023, the authors published a selection of images of the mod.
