French fashion house Louis Vuitton has unveiled a second capsule featuring 94-year-old Japanese artist Yaya Kusama. It has been reported hypebeast.
The second capsule of Louis Vuitton and Yayoi Kusama was called “The Creation of Eternity.” The collection includes bags, suitcases, wallets, belts, ties, and other accessories depicting pumpkins and flowers, all in reference to paintings by the famous Japanese artist. Justin Timberlake, Cate Blanchett, Jung Ho-young, Naomi Osaka and Lea Seydoux starred in the advertising campaign for the new capsule.
In the first part of the collaboration, the French fashion house introduced clothing and accessories featuring the iconic Kusama motif in the form of multicolored dots. Yayoi Kusama, 94, is known as the queen of avant-garde art and the most expensive artist of our time. One of his works was sold at Christie’s for $5.1 million in 2008.
