Especially the players who went through the original Resident Evil 1996, remember the intro with real actors. So some of them met again after 26 years to make a teaser for the upcoming short film based on the franchise.
The actors reprise their roles from the original:
- Chris Redfield – Charlie Kraslavsky
- Barry Burton – Greg Smith
- Albert Wesker – Eric Pirius
The published video shows Barry Burton delivering Chris Redfield by helicopter to the designated place, where he meets Albert Wesker, who to the hero’s surprise was found to be alive.
“You still don’t understand, you can’t kill a god”said Albert Wesker.
“Today you will die and you can’t get up again”Chris replied.
Whether other actors, including Linda X, who played Rebecca Chambers, will return is still unknown.

The authors plan to raise money for the making of the film on Patreon. Plot details have not been released.
