Chinese publication Sohu has revealed the exact length of the upcoming sci-fi movie Avatar: The Way of the Water. It turned out that the film will last longer than the first part.
The running time of the second part of “Avatar” is 190 minutes (3 hours and 10 minutes). For comparison, the first “Avatar” lasts 162 minutes (the director’s cut – 178 minutes).
Avatar: The Way of Water will premiere on December 16 this year. Earlier, Disney showed the underwater world of the film and the official poster.
It is worth noting that three more films are expected after the second part. This is when they come out:
- Avatar 3 – December 20, 2024;
- Avatar 4 – December 18, 2026;
- Avatar 5 – December 22, 2028
Directed by James Cameron (James Cameron), who previously showed photos from the shooting.
