Burlakov hinted that the singer holds a deep connection to her homeland, suggesting that Russia remains close to her heart. He disclosed that they are not currently in touch, yet his remarks about the artist were warm and respectful, describing her as a high point in his professional life.
Burlakov portrayed Zemfira as an exceptionally ordinary person. He shared that the notion of her being capricious is often echoed by others who themselves display such traits, underscoring a belief in her grounded nature amidst public scrutiny.
Earlier, a Telegram channel named Shot claimed that Zemfira had acquired French citizenship. The artist publicly clarified that she is a citizen of the Russian Federation and has no plans to obtain another nationality. She also reaffirmed that she continues to contribute taxes in Russia, despite not residing there for an extended period.
Back in February 2023, Zemfira was placed on the Ministry of Justice’s register of foreign agents. In May of the following year, she filed a legal challenge with the ministry to contest that status, seeking to clarify her position in relation to official designations.
