Comedian and writer Semyon Slepakov, who has been labeled a foreign agent in the Russian Federation, reportedly expects a comprehensive set of travel and security provisions for his performances in Russia. The package allegedly includes a business-class round-trip flight from Tel Aviv to Moscow, a dedicated personal security detail, and an expanded luxury vehicle arrangement. The fee for a forty-minute performance is claimed to be set at fifty thousand euros for the round trip.
According to the same reports, the artist also requires that the vehicle driver remain quiet during the journey. The driver is described as preferring not to speak Russian outside the CIS region. In addition, the performer is said to insist on lodging in a premium hotel in town, occupying a luxury room with a king-size bed, with lodging arrangements allegedly coordinated through a top-tier provider.
In 2022, Slepakov relocated his family to Israel and publicly stated that he does not plan to return to Russia. Subsequently, he was placed on a register of foreign agents. He filed a lawsuit seeking removal from that status but was denied.
Public records indicate that the comedian sold a Moscow apartment after moving away. The former residence was near Muzeon Park, and for the sale, Slepakov reportedly registered a sole proprietorship named “Slepakov” with the activity description focused on the purchase and sale of his own real estate.
There are also mentions of Slepakov presenting a version of SHAMAN songs in which he describes himself as not being Russian. These statements have contributed to ongoing discussions about his public identity and the pressures of international career moves on personal branding.
