In early October, comedian and actor Semyon Slepakov, who has faced designation as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation, reportedly sold a central Moscow apartment, according to a Telegram channel post. The report notes that Slepakov no longer owns real estate within Russia.

The elite residences formerly associated with the performer sit near Muzeon Park. For the sale, Slepakov reportedly registered as an individual entrepreneur under the name Slepakov with the activity type described as the buy and sale of one’s own real estate.

Subsequently, lawyer Andrei Aleshkin clarified to kp.ru that the apartment was sold through the individual entrepreneur to optimize tax deductions. He stated that Slepakov has effectively lost tax residency in the Russian Federation, which elevates the standard tax rate to about 30 percent. Selling through an individual entrepreneur could reduce tax to around 6 percent.

Aleshkin mentioned in an April declaration that Slepakov cannot sell an apartment in Moscow due to his status as a foreign representative. The lawyer added that the most expedient path for a sale would be to convey ownership to someone from Slepakov’s close circle as a gift. He also noted potential difficulties in transferring funds abroad if the real estate sale proceeds are moved outside the country.

Earlier, Prigozhin commented that Pugacheva maintains strong popularity within Russia.
