Singer Slava reached out to fans via social media, admitting that alcohol brings him pleasure. He also wrote, “he sent everyone away” on Channel Five.
“I’m a little drunk and I’m making you happy as always. And me too, by the way. To be honest, I really enjoy drinking. So let’s go, everyone!” Slava shared with followers.
Not long before these posts, Slava spoke about a troubling cough described as “terrible.” He explained that the cough had persisted for five months. The artist underwent a full round of medical checks and tests to determine why his throat was acting up, yet, as he stated, the doctors could not identify any clear cause.
Slava noted that the cough affected his ability to perform. He said he could cough on stage, but with improvisation and careful control, he could still deliver a professional performance.
Slava began his music career in 2002. He released his debut album, Fellow Traveler, in 2004. In the same year, he earned the Golden Gramophone award for the song Yoldaş Gezgin.
