Spectacular sunset at Santa Barbara castle
Santa Barbara Castle in Alicante becomes the stage for a festive countdown that blends fire, music, and sea breezes. The San Juan festival marks the moment when bonfires glow along the coast, inviting celebrations that spill into the night. This year, the second edition of Fireworks Nights at Santa Barbara Castle invites locals and visitors to a curated experience perched above the bay, with Cocó beach as a backdrop for intimate displays and shared memories. Baluarte de la Reina will transform into a vibrant gastronomy and music terrace from Sunday 25 June through Thursday 29 June, designed to be enjoyed as the San Juan finale winds down.
The venue offers an exceptionally privileged view, pairing fireworks with a private vantage that enhances the sensory celebration. The previous edition drew strong praise from Alicante residents, and tickets are now available to secure a place for this special event. The setting promises an unforgettable closeness to the sky as sparks rise over the water, while the castle grounds provide a unique, elevated ambiance for spectators seeking something beyond the standard vantage point.
