It was a finalist at this year’s Max Awards for best musical show and received the Valencia Performing Arts Award for best circus show. It is a theater piece that moves through circus language, humor, and live music. A sense of horror mixed with laughter and poetry threads through the experience.

Fear is what moves us, and in this music the audience will explore the clown’s language to speak about it.

There are as many fears as there are people in the world. Lucas Escobedo’s company aims not to present fear as a collection but as a trigger—a springboard to leap into the void and spread wings of humor. Fear lives in every person, though many wish it would stay away. He steps onto the stage with Escobedo in this production, joined by Raquel Molano, Alfonso Rodríguez, and Marta Sitja.

The Lucas Escobedo company has grown into one of today’s most exciting contemporary circus ensembles. With Yolo, it won the Feten Award in 2019; it earned the Valencia Performing Arts Award for best circus show in 2019 and was a Max Awards 2020 nominee for the best show for family audiences and for the best musical composition by Raquel Molano.
