The television presenter and blogger Nastya Ivleeva issued an apology on her channel for the episode in which journalist Alena Zhigalova eats guinea pigs. Ivleeva explained that she has removed the problematic segment and intends to publish an updated version of the show without the pig scene soon.

She admitted clear accountability, stating that the suspension will not by itself rectify the situation. Ivleeva insisted that she does not try to hide what happened and fully accepts that the fault lies with her. She emphasized that neither the team nor the authors bear responsibility for the move, and she personally approved all the show’s mechanics, including the punishment that was presented, which she now regrets.

The blogger noted that the guinea pig, used in the broadcast, was not captured on set in a defiant moment but came from a frozen store that supplies meat for various reptiles. She provided links to the store where a similar product was purchased, while maintaining that the action still crossed ethical lines.

Despite the legality of obtaining the meat, Ivleeva acknowledged that the stunt was inappropriate and went beyond acceptable boundaries. She described the decision to permit such a “punishment” on air as unwise and any claim of justification as indefensible.

The August 17 episode of Agent Show featured Zhigalova eating boiled guinea pig after agreeing to participate, even though she refused to share Ivleeva’s contact details. After the episode aired, many viewers criticized the program and called for its cancellation, arguing that the content was in poor taste and harmful to animals.

In a related note, Dana Borisova recently raised concerns about the health and weight of her mother, highlighting ongoing worries about the well-being of family members amid public scrutiny.
