The debut of the fifth season of the TV series Maske has been moved back by one week, according to NTV on its VKontakte project page.
Initially scheduled for February 11, the new season is now set to premiere on February 18. No official reason for the delay was provided by the network.
Commentators on social media speculated that the postponement might be linked to changes in the Maske jury following the recent controversy surrounding influencer Nastya Ivleeva and a so-called naked party. It is noted that the earlier Maske jury included Philip Kirkorov, who attended Ivleeva’s event.
On the night of December 21, a gathering for blogger Anastasia Ivleeva took place at the Mutabor club in Moscow. About 170 attendees were reported, with notable participants including Kirkorov, Ksenia Sobchak, Lolita, Dima Bilan, Dzhigan and his wife Oksana Samoilova, and Glyuk’oZa. The party featured a near party-dress code of underwear and sheer outfits. Critics later condemned the event in the context of ongoing military operations in Ukraine.
On the eve of the gathering, singer and composer Yuri Loza suggested that time would reveal the truth about the Ivleeva party participants.
Previously, the film The Master and Margarita drew close to one billion rubles at the box office. [NTV VKontakte, project page]
