Luis Fonsi returns to Elche for a weekend of performances

Independent festival in Sant Joan and Miguel Campello

The Garden festival in Sant Joan d’Alacant presents an indie oriented alternative to the Magical Nights series, staged at least twice as part of Music in the Garden. On Friday at 20:00, audiences can enjoy Wide Angle and Dorian, led by Marc Gili, blending folk and pop rock with a DJ lineup including Kokedama, Cristian Set Roc, Terreta Sound Machine and Jes-Set. On Saturday there is an international slate at 25:00 featuring the Norwegian act Kakkmaddafakka, Carlos Sadness, and the Alicante-based Dual Diagnosis, plus DJ Adriasola, Susukid and Modafokastyle. Sunday highlights Miguel Campello at 22:30, €28, a renowned figure behind El Bicho and Scrapper, now celebrated as a solo artist who helped define modern hybrid sounds. The venue is April Gardens in Sant Joan d’Alacant.

Two more days of concert at Leyendas del Rock festival

The Leyendas del Rock macro festival nears its finale with three major days. Friday features acts such as Bullet for My Valentine, Beartooth, Angelus Apatrida, DragonForce, Korpiklaani, Napalm Death, and Dry River at the Villena Sports Center. Saturday closes the event with performances from Michael Schenker, HammerFall, Dirkschneider, Hamatom, Avalanch and Gigatron, delivering one of the strongest rosters in rock and heavy metal this season.
