Music, gastronomy, literature, dance, art and design, concerts, workshops, market, talks and tastings unfold. Espacio Seneca in Alicante returns to La Estación, a cultural celebration now in its third edition under Meet Live and Mahou on Saturday the 26th. The program blends diverse disciplines with promises of a richer, more cultural experience, according to Marina Torrecilla, a leader of the organizing team behind the free program. The daytime lineup runs from 12:00 to 23:00. Veintiuno opens with music and closes at 21:00 with a funk and R&B influenced set at Plaza Séneca. Soledad Vélez, a Chilean artist based in Valencia, performs at noon with a pop electronic and urban flavor. La Estación also offers the chance to hear Full perform an acoustic set and to be interviewed after the group from Seville disbands. Alicante’s Elsa Grande, winner of the UA emerging groups competition, performs at 1:30 PM (4:00 PM) before the act moves along the stage. Martiz from Alicante presents a sample of his alternative pop at 20:00.

Los Zigarros, just rock & roll

The Valencia quartet returns to Alicante, this time at The One in San Vicente, on Saturday. Their approach mixes fresh, energetic rock with a beer in hand, strong guitars, and lyrics that celebrate life with friends. With four albums, they continue to keep the rock and roll flame alive in the region.

Josele Santiago with David Krahe and Flamenco Leaks at Bello Público

Bello Público hosts a festival of poetry and music that runs into the weekend. On Friday, micropoetry by AJO, a reference figure of Madrid counterculture, takes the stage. Next up is Josele Santiago joined by David Krahe for an acoustic revisit of their shared songbook. Saturday features Valencia’s Feriafónica with two performances, including a family friendly set El ladrido suave that brings poetry closer to children and teens. The night closes with Flamenco Leaks, a trio consisting of Carles Benavent on electric bass, Tino di Geraldo on drums and Jorge Pardo on saxophone and flute, fusing jazz, flamenco, and music that defies orthodox boundaries.

emlan and the caravan

Emlan, a former basketball player who also plays piano and guitar, creates his own songs and explores many artistic roles. He will play at 22:00 tonight in Stereo Alicante, with the Caravan group from Madrid performing tomorrow in a room that will host their energetic pop sound. Resaca Pop shines with overflowing power and freshness in the artist’s repertoire.

Nito Serrano, Guiu Cortes and Andreu Valor

The Euterpe room in Sant Joan hosts Nito Serrano and Lapurasangre on Friday with tickets around 12 euros in advance and 15 euros at the box office. Guiu Cortés, known as El Niño de la Hipoteca, performs with a price tag of 15/18 euros, following his appearance on Saturday in the show 3 heroes and 1 villain. Andreu Valor presents his new album A nou mon on Sunday with ticketing around 12/15 euros.

Cementeri, Secret Wars and Ataac

Nave Iguana in San Vicente brings three bands to a single night starting at 21:30 with a flexible entry of 5 to 10 euros that goes entirely to the artists. Secret Wars from Valencia, Cemënteri from Alicante, and Ataac from Benidorm share the stage. Secret Wars arose from a home project during the quarantine era and has grown into a full band with a sound that blends Noise Rock and Postpunk, hinting at bands like Killing Joke and Metz. This is their first major tour date in the country after an earlier Valencian appearance. Cementeri continues to release pandemic LPs and seven inch records, sharing material with Santo Rostro via Spinda records. Their sound blends post-hardcore, punk, and post-punk in an effort to forge a distinctive voice. Attack Discharge, a trio from Benidorm, delivers dark hc punk with classic influences like Eskorbuto, avoiding mere revival vibes. The lineup includes Hogar, Chuck.Norris Revenge, Típex, among others, and they bring a raw energy that electrifies live shows.

Pablo Moreno in the Poet’s Sanctuary

El Refugio del poeta in Elche hosts a performance by Pablo Moreno, a young talent in the music scene, on Saturday at 21:00 with an entry of 10 euros. He debuts his first album El Nido, revealing a broad creative landscape and a compelling stage presence.

Basque people of Korrontzi in Rojales

The Basque fusion group Korrontzi performs at Músicas Sin Fronteras in Rojales this Friday, at the Capitol Municipal Theatre. Tickets are 8 euros. The program nods to Basque tradition with language, dance and music featured prominently, presenting the world class Basque bertsolari heritage through a modern lens.

Regards to Tina Turner and Mecano

An international musical tribute to Tina Turner takes the stage, Definitely Tina!, on Sunday, November 27 at the Gran Teatro de Elche. The Auditorio de la Nucía will host a moment of silence for Mecano with a Saturday evening performance. The season honors iconic pop contributions with a sense of nostalgia and celebration.
