According to the outlet, Blinovskaya’s total debt now stands at 1 billion 219 million rubles, an increase from 1 billion 218 million 626 thousand rubles previously recorded. The change reflects ongoing financial scrutiny surrounding her case and the broader context of her financial affairs.
In April 2023, Blinovskaya was detained while attempting to leave the country. Investigators allege that she employed a business fragmentation scheme designed to understate income and conceal taxes amounting to more than 918 million rubles for the period 2019 to 2021 from the state.
On March 22, 2024, authorities concluded the preliminary investigation into the Blinovskaya matter and that of her husband, Alexei. The charges against the couple were expanded as prosecutors alleged that they increased the amount of legalized funds and property acquired through criminal activity, raising the total from 43 million rubles to over 700 million rubles.
As of May 28, the process of lifting arrests on Blinovskaya’s property commenced. At present, she remains in detention. The Moscow City Court extended her arrest for another month on July 24, with the detention extended through August 19.
