Company Marenostrum events, led by Nacho Lloret, organized a campaign to promote the Bonfire Fair at the Alicante Arena, following their usual approach. This time the artists worked in collaboration, with Joserra Lozano and Iván Estupiñá joining forces to craft a unified artwork.

Joserra Lozano created images that draw on classic techniques from the last century to depict bullfighters. One poster features Morante de la Puebla seated in a chair, echoing early 20th century bullfighting imagery that recalls figures like Joselito and Belmonte. Iván Estupiñá contributed a modern touch through his typography expertise. A notable detail is Morante de la Puebla surrounded by the crowned “A” iron, a feature prominently echoed in the poster design.

As for the image of Roca Rey, the old hand-colored plate aesthetic was imitated, and Estupiñá completed the composition with a typeface that bridges traditional poster style and contemporary elegance.

The image of José María Manzanares holds special significance in this campaign, marking twenty years since the alternative. The two artists employed a shared, personalized technique, but this time the surrounding text and imagery emphasized the milestone with greater impact.

exposed by the city

These works are displayed across the city using a variety of media channels orchestrated by Nacho Lloret’s company, both in physical formats and online. Buses, subway stations and other public spaces showcase the Bonfire Fair and the Alicante Fair, achieving broad and effective promotion.

The fair will feature four bullfights, a fight with a picador, and a rejoneo with a knight. With Diego Ventura, Andy Cartagena, and Lea Vicens, the performances are expected to deliver a memorable show.
