Alicante Setlist Brings Global Stars to the Stage
With a career that spans more than four decades and more than 60 million records sold, an Italian rock blues icon prepares to light up a key venue in Spain. Alicante will host a major show as part of a global World Tour, bringing a fresh set of songs to the Plaza de Toros Alicante stage. The night promises a blend of new material and cherished anthems from a storied catalog, performed in a live setting that highlights the artist’s distinctive fusion of genres.
The audience will witness a dynamic live performance featuring the latest tracks alongside timeless favorites. Iconic tunes known for their bold energy and memorable melodies will sit beside contemporary offerings, creating a vibrant concert experience. The artist is celebrated for a signature style that mixes blues with rock, pop, and Latin influences, a combination that has captivated fans for years. Collaborations with legendary names in music have helped shape this versatile career, including associations with leading figures in blues, rock, and pop across decades.
A Madrid-born icon of Spanish music will also take the stage this season. A career spanning more than 31 years and more than two dozen albums has seen collaborations with beloved artists such as Shakira, Camilo, and Andrés Calamaro. The performer will arrive in Alicante with a live show that combines vocal prowess, storytelling, and a large audiovisual installation. The tour, which began in Mexico earlier this year, features a robust itinerary across Latin America and Europe, with performances planned through Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay before returning to Europe for late spring through the summer. The production emphasizes immersive visuals and a high-energy audience experience, delivering a concert that resonates across generations and languages.
Additional names join the Alicante Gold festival lineup, turning the calendar with a steady stream of headline acts. On May 5 the festival welcomes NATO and Waor, followed by Joaquin Sabina on May 10 and 12. Lola Indigo performs on May 19, and the Gypsy Kings take the stage on July 7. July 11 features Marco Antonio Solis, with LP performing on July 16 and Morat on July 18. Other notable dates include Carlos Rivera on July 25, Kraftwerk on July 26, Tom Jones on August 1, Pablo Alborán on August 5, and Zaz on August 9. August 12 brings Vanessa Martin, August 17 sees Wilco, and August 19 features Priestess. Miguel Rios appears on August 25, District on August 26, Anthony Orozco on September 2, Manuel Carrasco on September 23, and a special performance later in the season marks a vibrant close to the run.
