Actor of the series “Count Krestovski” Iosif Tkach and his wife Lyudmila were killed in Baku. This was reported by TASS Referring to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.
The murder took place in Baku’s Nasimi district on the evening of October 22. The time of the crime was around 21:00 local time (20:00 Moscow time). Those killed were 85 and 80 years old. A person named Islam Nadiev was detained on suspicion of committing a crime. The investigation into the circumstances of the crime is ongoing; The killer’s alleged motives and methods of committing the crime were not specified.
Joseph Tkach worked at the Azerbaijan State Academic Russian Drama Theater named after Samed Vurgun for most of his life. The actor almost never appeared on the screen, but in 2004 he played a small role as the chief physician in the Russian TV series Count Krestovsky. He also starred in the Azerbaijani film “Kaygı” in 1998.
