Singer Mr. Credo (real name Alexander Makhonin) was accused of fraud for not performing in Kazakhstan. In this regard reports Telegram channel Mash.
According to the channel, the Suarg Astana company agreed with Makhonin to participate in the festival, which will be held in Astana and Almaty on July 13-14. He admitted that the amount of 5.4 million rubles, which the organizers stated, was transferred to the artist in cash in two installments to Makhonin’s apartment at his request, without any contract or receipt.
On July 13, Mr. Credo did not come to the festival, saying his Russian passport had expired and that was why he could not cross the border. When the singer was asked to return the money, he allegedly refused, stating that the organizers did not fulfill some conditions from the driver. According to the organizers, the driver was satisfied.
Later, representatives of the Suarg Astana company discovered that Makhonin was banned from leaving Russia due to tax debts and fines. The police launched an investigation into the possibility of fraud.
