“It seems like many years have passed, but I still dream of a magic wand, at least for a minute… A lot can change,” he admitted.
It was supported by comments from subscribers and representatives of show business. In particular, actor Andrei Leonov expressed words of support for the Olympian. He compared Kostomarov’s path with the fate of Jesus Christ.
“This is probably too strong a comparison, but it occurred to me! How many people believed in themselves! How many souls did you save! How many despairs were destroyed!” — Leonov wrote.
At the beginning of January 2023, Kostomarov was hospitalized after New Year’s performances at an open-air show. It was reported that he was in intensive care with pneumonia and on a ventilator, his condition was considered extremely serious. He was later treated at Kommunarka.
