Rapper ST (real name Alexander Stepanov) called for non-condemnation of artists who released songs about the terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall in the immediate aftermath of the tragedy. His words are quoted HABER.ru.
“For example, I took it very seriously, but I could not find the words to convey what I felt in such a short time. Someone did it. There is no need to condemn this in any way. “I’m sure many artists wanted to make songs but were afraid of being condemned,” the musician admitted.
Comparing the release of songs to the “creative scream” of musicians, Stepanov added that sincerity can always be seen in such compositions. ST hoped that there were no artists in Russia who released elegies “for any other reason”.
