Actor Mike Hagerty, known for playing Mr. Treeger in the iconic movie ‘Friends’, has died. 67 years old. Sharing the news on social networks, Bridget Everett became a co-star in the latest ‘Somebody, Somewhere’. The cause of death was not reported.
“Michael G. Hagerty’s family was heartbroken when they announced his death yesterday. [jueves 5 de mayo] Everett is a beloved actor in Los Angeles, known for his characters, his love for his hometown of Chicago, and his love for his family, who are the cornerstones of his life. A devoted husband, Mike is survived by his wife, Mary Kathryn, sister Mary Ann Hagerty, sister-in-law Kathleen O’Rourke, and their daughter, Meg.
In a second post, Everett added that he “loved Mike very much” from the moment he met her. “It was very special, very comfortable and funI’ve never met anyone like this. We were devastated by his death,” he said.
Despite appearing in ‘Somebody, Somewhere’ for HBO this year, the public still knew him for his role as Mr. Treeger in the legendary sitcom ‘Friends’. The doorman of the building where Joey, Chandler, Monica and Rachel live. One of his best-known episodes was the fourth episode of season four titled ‘The Ballroom Dance’, in which Joey had to teach him how to dance to prevent Monica and Rachel from eviction.
Hagerty has appeared in sitcoms ‘Friends’ and ‘Somebody, Somewhre’, as well as ‘The George Carlin Show’ and ‘Lucky Louie’, and has also been seen as episodic characters in other series such as ‘Boston Legal’, ‘Brooklyn’. Nine-Nine’, ‘Cheers’, ‘CSI: Las Vegas’, ‘Entourage’, ‘ER, ‘Ghost Whisperer’ or ‘The Goldbergs’, among others.
