Yevgeny Kheifets, lawyer for Dmitry Leps, who was injured in a shootout with Leps, told Shot that his client rested on his day off by playing backgammon at the Finnegans bar on 192 Moskovsky Prospekt and making small bets until the folk artist arrived.

“He played backgammon. Leps came … He asked to be allowed to play. He said he had bet $10,000 and pulled out a pack of five thousand rubles.”

According to Heifetz, the situation developed as follows: Dmitry did not have such an opportunity and asked the singer to let him finish the game, but Leps took off his glasses, put them on the guard and hit Dmitry. Then Dmitry was offered to go out to continue getting things done.

“There, along with the guards, he was beaten by Leps. He showed aggression towards the common man. Dmitry is an ordinary employee, ”the lawyer concluded.

Dmitry, on the reports of Moika, wrote a statement to the police against Leps, Mash. A REN TV source states that the injured Dmitry G. was diagnosed with bruises in the emergency room, his nose is suspected to be broken. The man was released home after the examination.

According to lawyer Kheyfets, the police brought a criminal case under Article 115 section 2 (“Deliberately causing minor bodily harm”).

The fight took place after the anniversary concert of Leps on December 2 at the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg, which did not go without incident – the artist threw the microphone to the floor during the performance of the song, and then left the stage. Later, a message appeared on Leps’s social networks stating that “the concert was not easy” and that Leps himself “got sick”.

But when she turned her back to stand next to him, the musician said, “Why are you taking pictures anyway, no one will believe you’re friends with me. Later, Leps criticized another fan, who tried to approach the stage without waiting for the final chords. Also, announcing the song “I will live in London”, the musician presented the song as follows: “It is a song about a city we are already in. [не] They’ll let you in. Unless we win.” According to the reviews and comments from the audience, Leps repeatedly said obscene words from the stage.

Leps fan Evgenia Bykova, who attended a concert at Ice, said “socialbites.ca” did not receive the expected emotions from the concert, as it was clear that the artist was sick and was noticeably hoarse during the performance of one of the songs.

“His voice was gone. He was a little rude to a woman who wanted to take a picture with him at the concert and eventually broke the microphone on the floor. He never interacted with the public. Bykova noted that even after such a performance, her impression of the singer did not change.

“Many songs are associated with important memories in life. He has a really great voice and charisma (as far as I know from TV and audio recordings). <...> After all, he is a living person.
