AVTOVAZ plans to introduce a new compact crossover based on the Lada Vesta by the end of 2025.
According to the head of the company Maxim Sokolov, we are talking about the development of a highly localized crossover of the SUV category with front-wheel drive on the Vesta platform.
“This is no longer in class B, but closer to C – we call it B+. We expect to start production of this car at the end of 2025. Part of the Duster-focused audience buys the Vesta B+ crossover. And a portion will go to Niva Travel,” – explained the head of AVTOVAZ.
At the same time, Maxim Sokolov noted that it is not economically feasible to continue producing Duster itself today, given the agreement with Renault.
