Timur Khaidarov, a noted plastic surgeon, shut down the clinic known as Russian Medicine LLC. He explained to socialbites.ca that the legal entity was established years earlier with a partner to create a medical center, but it never conducted any operations. The liquidation, according to him, had nothing to do with patient concerns about the quality of services rendered.
He clarified that the venture was begun around 2021 or 2022 with plans to develop a rehabilitation center, a referral network, and even dietary supplements. A separate clinic was opened at a different registered address, but the decision was made to close it for now. The entity remains unused; the bank has been calling, proposing to open an account, but no activities were initiated. The company formed with one partner later brought in another individual in a project known as IQ Plastik. Presently, efforts are underway to advance a new clinic concept while the original idea remains dormant. The purpose was to move the project forward rather than let it sit idle, according to his account.
Over the years, Khaidarov has treated many Russian celebrities as a plastic surgeon. In 2023, he found himself at the center of controversy when patients began reporting dissatisfaction with outcomes from some of his procedures.
In July, the singer Slava claimed that her breast augmentation did not meet expectations, pointing to asymmetry and noticeable scarring after the operation. He asserted that the singer did not adhere to aftercare recommendations for healing scars, attributing some issues to post-surgical care rather than surgical technique alone.
Lyubov Uspenskaya also expressed concern about results from a procedure performed by Khaidarov, joining Slava in questioning the final appearance. Subsequently, a group of another dozen women signed a collective letter criticizing the surgeon’s work and requesting a review of the cases in question.
Throughout 2022, Khaidarov was connected with Kulab LLC as the owner of the medical organization until its activities were restructured. Official financial statements for the year showed a revenue in the low millions of rubles, with modest profits, while another clinic associated with Khaidarov, IQ Plastic, reported a different financial picture, reflecting the broader scale of operations and investments in cosmetic care during that period. The numbers indicate a period of rapid growth and subsequent adjustment within the private medical sector in the region.
In related public statements, Khaidarov discussed changes in the appearance of another well-known public figure, signaling ongoing engagement with high-profile clients and the broader discourse around aesthetic transformation. These remarks underscore the intersection of celebrity culture and cosmetic medicine, where reputation often accompanies technical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
