The Brand Club emerged from the national accolade Brand of the Year Russia 2024, uniting competitors at Start Hub in Red October, Moscow. The gathering offered attendees a space to connect, forge business relationships, and discover the fresh nominations announced for this year. Organizers confirmed the update to participants.
Olga Markelova, Executive Director of Brand of the Year in Russia 2024, introduced the award team to entrants in the second qualifying stage and outlined the new nominees. The clarifications were prepared in collaboration with strategic industrial partners—the Association of Communications Agencies of Russia (AKAR) and the Association of Brand Companies of Russia (ABKR).
Markelova noted that the Brand Club, launched by the award organizers, has drawn ongoing interest from participants and gained strong support from the event’s expert jury. He observed that the club has established itself as a dependable networking platform, with value found in aiding local companies to grow. Through the meetings, attendees can form business ties that help brands expand and access broader markets, particularly within Russia’s evolving economic landscape.
During the program, Sergei Trofimenko, vice-president of the Russian Academy of Public Relations and chair of the award’s organizing committee, together with Vitaly Rasnitsyn, chair of the award’s top advisory council, stressed the importance of producing goods and services that strengthen import substitution in the national economy.
Gulnara Paunezheva, head of the award’s press center, emphasized that Russian brands must adopt new channels to communicate with consumers to broaden their reach and deepen engagement across audiences.
Anastasia Sidorina, Director of Client Relations at Romir, shared insights from a study titled Key market trends through the eyes of the buyer, offering a grounded view of consumer preferences and shifting behaviors that influence brand strategy .
The competition remains open, with applications now being accepted for the third elimination round. Winners are expected to be announced in November, with media coverage continuing through official channels .
