Gas prices are down 13% at auction in Europe, at just over $2,100 per thousand cubic metres. This has been reported DEA News” referring to trade data.
October futures (based on Europe’s largest central TTF index) were $2,456.8 per thousand cubic meters (+0.1%) at trade open and were down to $2,128 (-13.7%) as of 17.57 Moscow time.
“The maximum price has dropped to $2,111.4 (-14%),” the agency writes.
It was noted that the dynamics of the bids were given at the previous day’s settlement price – $2,455.2 per thousand cubic meters.
Financial Times early afternoon WroteAmong European countries, the highest electricity prices for households were recorded in the UK, and for gas in the Netherlands. In the case of gas, Germany follows the Netherlands.
At the same time, Hungary recorded the lowest gas prices for households. The publication suggests that this is because Budapest has agreed on a number of deals with Russia, providing gas supplies at lower prices.
